The worlds of recording equipment and hi-fi listening gear don’t usually coincide; “pro audio” and home recording pieces are designed for measured accuracy (or as much as is reasonable for the price point), while hi-fi playback gear is tuned for maximum listening pleasure, even if not entirely accurate to the source.
